About Me

Originally from Maine, I began my training at Ballet Theater Workshop in Portsmouth, NH under Mihailo Djuric. I grew up dancing any and all forms of dance I could find focusing on ballet, modern dance but also including jazz, character and ballroom.
I went on to get a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of Utah College School of Dance where I studied dance performance, pedagogy, and choreography. I was a member of the university's resident ballet, character dance and contemporary dance companies for four years. I also travelled around the world studying dance and performing in Ukraine, Canada, Greece, and Spain. My choreography was also selected to be performed as part of the adjudicated Choreographer's Showcase on four separate occasions.
I began my professional career with San Diego Ballet, and went on to dance with LaMov Compania de Danza of Spain, , Ballet Tucson,  and Menlowe Ballet. With these companies I performed soloist and principal roles in classical ballets including Serenade, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Carmina Burana, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and Firebird. With LaMov I danced the prinicipal female role in contemporary/neoclassical versions of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and El Trovador (Il Trovatore). I also danced works choreographed by Victor Jimenez, Francisco Lorenzo, and Itzak Galili. The company toured extensively around Spain as well as Paris France.
My choreography has been presented in Utah, Arizona, California, Mexico and Spain. I have created work on dancers from Ballet Tucson, LaMov Compania de Danza, Laboradance of Spain, and Municipal Ballet Company of Utah. My works have been performed at dance competitions including Youth America Grand Prix as well as the California Dance Classics, earning the top score for their in age division, as well as judges choices awards for choreography. I have worked with top students at Menlo Park Academy of Dance as well as Pacific Ballet Academy. For Pacific Ballet I created Act 1 of The Nutcracker,  as well as contemporary works for the advanced dancers.
In 2019 I also helped to co-found em(body) dance project. The project seeks to give space for the stories of women, queer people, artists, and humans. My work was also recently performed at the Zohar Performance Series in Palo Alto, as well as the San Francisco Movement Arts Festival.
